Good Evening Cunard Families!
We are excited to welcome all of our students tomorrow! Students will gather outdoors beginning at 7:50 am. Please note, there is no staff on duty supervising students prior to 7:50 am each day so we ask that students not be dropped off prior to that time. At 8:10 students in grade 7 and 8 will enter the building through the main doors and proceed directly to their homeroom location:
701 (Room 204), 702 (Room 205) 703 (Room 212), 801 (Room 206), 802 (Room 207) 803 (Room208)
You can find your child's homeroom on Powerschool. There is a link on the school website to reset your password if needed.
All grade 5 and 6 students will enter through the main doors when directed after the Junior High students. Students will proceed into the gym in grades 5 and 6 and will gather with staff and school administration. From there, they will be introduced to their teachers and directed to their classrooms.
Breakfast program will begin next week.
Lunch is from 11:10-12:00. All students in grade 5 and 6 are expected to stay on school property unless otherwise noted in writing from the parent.
Just a reminder, it's a great idea to have your child's bus number and bus stop attached to their backpack until they get used to taking the bus. This will ensure they get on the correct bus tomorrow.
All bussing requests need to be handled by HRCE Transportation. You can log on at www.hrce.ca. The school cannot place students on a bus or have them removed so please ensure you have confirmation from HRCE they are on a bus. If you do not, please arrange to pick up your child at 2:10.
PLEASE note: Cars cannot be in the bus lane area (circle drive through) between 7:45am-8:10am OR between 1:50pm-2:30pm. Busses must be able to access this space so we ask you to park on the street to pick up your child between these times.
Just a reminder, hot lunch will not begin until October 6th. Please ensure your child has a lunch each day. Further information to come on ordering etc.
Lastly, all students will be coming home with forms tomorrow. Please ensure they are reviewed, signed, and returned :) Students will also receive their swag and schedules!
