NSTU Conference Day: Reminder that there will be no classes for students this Friday October 27 as it is the NSTU provincial conference day.

School Dance: Our next school dance is scheduled for this Thursday, October 26 from 6:00-8:30 pm. Please arrange for drives to be on time when the dance ends.

Dance Guests: Any student wishing to sign a guest into the dance can pick up a Guest Form in the main office.  The form myust be returened to the office by Wednesday. 

Leadership: Any Gr. 9 students wishing to attend the NSSSA Conference must bring their form and money to Mr. Sarka by 12:10 today.  

Spanish Classes: Ms. Salazar, our International teacher visiting from Columbia, will be offering Spanish classes on Wednesdays at lunch for anyone interested.

Athletic Fees:  Students on school sports teams must pay an athletic fee.  The amount is $10-15 depending on the sport, cost of referres, field rental, etc.  Please contact the office ASAP if this poses a difficulty for you.

Backpacks: Students are not to be carrying backpacks to class.  This is a fire safety issue.  Backpacks must be in lockers.

Dress for the Weather:  As long as the weather is not extreme, we will be outside in the mornings and at lunch.  Make sure you are dressed for the weather.

Parents as Career Coaches: This free workshop will provide you with the information, strategies and practical tools to help your child make informed academic, training and career choices.  More info

Take Your Kid to Work Day: This will take place next Wednesday, November 1 for Gr. 9 students only.  Student MUST have permission form submitted in order to participate.  More information and permission forms.
